Everyone loves puppies. They are so cute and cuddly you cannot help but smile. I spent my whole childhood pining over other people’s dogs wishing for one of my own. For as long as I can remember I wanted a German Shepherd and was known to go up to anything and win them over. I happened to marry a man who also grew up wanting a German Shepherd. It was one of the first things we bought together. Pets require a great investment in money, time and love. Some come easier than others but the benefits are great.
Here are seven puppy prompts to write through:
Day One: Write about your favorite breed of puppy.
Day Two: Write about your first puppy (or the puppy you wished you had).
Day Three: Write about the death of a beloved dog.
Day Four: Puppies are very clumsy. Write about a time when you were clumsy.
Day Five: Man’s best friend is…
Day Six: A dog is to a boy like a boy is…
Day Seven: How do you feel about killing animals for their fur?
Responses are not meant to be one sentence answers, elaborate on your answers. Meditate, reflect and enjoy. You can find more writing prompts at The Write Prompts blog.
